As the Wurstfest celebration rolls into town, bringing with it the unmistakable sights, sounds, and tastes of German heritage, CMIT Solutions of New Braunfels is excited to take part in this iconic festival as both a supporter and a participant. President Yusuf Ujjainwala, a proud member of the Rotary Club of New Braunfels, is diving into the festivities with his family by his side—and they’re bringing more than just good vibes! On Saturday, November 2, from 5:30-9:30 pm, Yusuf and his family will be serving up the festival favorite: potato pancakes and German sausage.
For the Ujjainwala family, being part of Wurstfest is more than just joining in the fun; it’s about showing appreciation for the local community and the rich cultural traditions that make New Braunfels special. Through CMIT Solutions, Yusuf has supported local businesses and organizations by providing trusted IT services, cybersecurity solutions, and tech support, always with a deep sense of community involvement. Supporting Wurstfest is an extension of this commitment, adding a dash of local flavor and tradition.
Beyond the World Famous Kartoffelpuffer and German sausage which are sure to bring a smile (and a tasty treat!) to festivalgoers, Yusuf is looking forward to connecting with old friends, meeting new faces, and sharing in the “Gemütlichkeit” spirit that Wurstfest is known for. With its roots dating back to 1961, Wurstfest brings a unique mix of Texan and German heritage that New Braunfels proudly celebrates, making it the perfect event for family fun, great food, and warm memories.
So, whether you’re there to enjoy the music, try the legendary food, or raise a glass, we invite you to stop by on Saturday to say “Prost!” to Yusuf, his family, and the Rotary Club Booth #B6, or any day of the festival that runs Nov. 1-10 — all proceeds benefit local nonprofits and charities. Together, let’s toast to community, tradition, and the Wurstfest spirit that keeps New Braunfels lively and connected. We hope to see you there!
