President and CEO
Daniel Maldet
Get to know the owner, Daniel Maldet!
Daniel is a seasoned technology professional and cybersecurity advocate with more than 25 years of experience in engineering, IT systems, and digital infrastructure management. He specializes in supporting small businesses that don’t have an in-house IT staff.
Daniel began his career at Emsco, Inc., a national leader in induction melting and heating equipment and part of global powerhouse Inductotherm, Inc. During his 19 years with Emsco, he led major projects involving industrial automation, electrical systems integration, and preventive maintenance programs—building a foundation of hands-on technical leadership in complex, high-reliability environments.
Daniel relocated to Columbus and leveraged his technical and entrepreneurial skills to launch Tek Experts, a consumer electronics and device repair firm specializing in diagnostics, system restoration, and data security. Following a decade of success serving individuals and small businesses at Tek Experts, he joined CMIT Solutions, a national managed IT services provider with more than 250 offices across North America. At CMIT Solutions, Daniel focuses on helping small- and medium-sized businesses protect their digital assets, capitalize on technological efficiencies, and implement proactive cybersecurity measures.
Daniel also serves as President of 3DM Properties, Inc., and is active in the regional business community through his leadership role on the Board of Directors of the Clintonville Area Business Association, as well as through memberships in the Tri-Village and Worthington Chambers of Commerce.
Through his work with local business groups, Daniel has organized free electronics recycling events around Columbus for more than 10 years. His professional and community work reflects a lifelong commitment to advancing technology-driven solutions that keep businesses secure, efficient, and future-ready.
Daniel holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Ashland University. In his spare time, he enjoys biking on the Alum Creek Trail, gardening, home improvement projects, and raising chickens.
