Defending against AI: Why Security Can’t Be Optional Anymore

Artificial intelligence is now built into everyday business tools, from email and collaboration platforms to automation and decision‑making. While AI is helping businesses move faster and work smarter, it’s also changing how cyber risks emerge and spread.

This briefing takes a practical look at how AI has reshaped today’s threat landscape, why traditional security approaches are falling behind, and what modern protection really requires. Designed for small and midsized business leaders, this session focuses on clarity, not jargon, so you can better understand where your organization may be exposed and what “being secure” actually means now.

You will gain insights into:

  • How AI has changed cyber risk for businesses of all sizes
  • Why many security tools alone no longer provide enough protection
  • What capabilities define the new security baseline
  • How AI can be used responsibly without increasing exposure
  • Why cyber insurance expectations are evolving, and what that means for your business

Enjoy the learning, a little friendly competition, connect with peers, and leave with a clearer understanding of how to protect your business as technology continues to evolve.
