Chuck’s interest in technology dates back to middle school, when he routinely tinkered with basic computer programming on a TRS 80. However, the true career spark did not happen until he took a computer science class at Texas Tech University. He even worked full-time at the Lubbock County Computer Center during his last two years at Texas Tech while earning his BBA in Management Information Systems in 1993. He followed that with an MBA from the University of Georgia and spent the next three decades driving technology innovation for Fortune 500 companies, both in-house and as a management consultant.

Much of that time was spent on data and analytics, the fundamental driver behind today’s obsession with AI. He also led several game-changing projects. For instance, he helped design and build the largest big data platform in the pharmaceutical industry, which enabled R&D scientists to leverage human genetic data to validate targets. This resulted in medicines that were more than twice as likely to be successful in clinical trials. Fundamentally, he builds technology solutions that focus on solving real business problems — not technology for the sake of technology. A creative leader with a reputation for delivering results through vision and execution, Chuck has enjoyed stops at established companies such as IBM, Samsung, and GSK. His roles range from C-level leadership to digital transformation, global sourcing, talent development, and data enablement. During his two decades as a management consultant, he developed a deep appreciation for the strategic application of technology. Additionally, his 10 years as an executive reinforced his commitment to delivering accountability, adept problem resolution, and the ability to develop resilient, high-performing teams.
