President and CEO
Doug Bates
Doug Bates is the President of CMIT Solutions, Atlanta Southern Crescent. Prior to opening CMIT in 2009, Doug spent 22 years in a corporate sales, marketing, and product management career great companies like LEGO, GE Lighting, TYCO, and Acuity Brands.
Doug holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration and Speech Communication from Lindenwood University in St. Louis and has experience with both 6 Sigma and LEAN Process methodologies.
Since opening CMIT in 2009, CMIT Atlanta Southern Crescent has won 16 franchise awards for revenue growth, technical staff/expertise, and customer service working exclusively with small and medium businesses as a trusted advisor and strategic IT partner. CMIT Solutions, Atlanta Southern Crescent has also won the Small Business of the Year for both the Fayette (2012 and 2017) and Coweta-Newnan (2017) Chambers of Commerce.
