Dayal Bhagat

President & CEO

Dayal’s fascination with technology began in the late 1980s, long before personal computers were a common household sight. As a high school student in Lowell, Massachusetts, he taught himself BASIC programming and MS-DOS, driven by a deep curiosity about how hardware and software interact. This early passion led to a degree in Computer Science and a distinguished 25-year career in global information technology.

Before leading CMIT Solutions, Dayal held executive IT leadership roles at major corporations, including a significant tenure at Bank of America right here in Charlotte. These experiences allowed him to refine his expertise in high-stakes infrastructure, strategic management, and professional ethics — qualities he now applies to every client he serves in North Charlotte.

As part of the nationwide CMIT Solutions family, Dayal is supported by a talented local team and the collective intelligence of 900 experts across North America. He serves as a strategic technical advisor, helping local business owners secure their infrastructure and achieve predictable, high-impact results.
