What Volunteer Week Means to CMIT Solutions San Marcos and New Braunfels

Volunteer Week is an annual celebration of the selfless individuals who give their time and energy to make a positive impact in their communities. At CMIT Solutions of San Marcos and New Braunfels, volunteer week is an opportunity for us to say thank you to those who have made a difference in the lives of others.
A History of Giving Back
Volunteering is a vital part of our community here in the San Marcos/New Braunfels area, and both cities have a long history of giving back. From supporting local schools to helping those in need, volunteers have played a significant role in shaping our town.
There are many ways to get involved during Volunteer Week. Volunteer opportunities range from working with non-profit organizations to helping with community events.
There Are Many Ways To Get Involved. Here Are a Few:
1. Volunteer at your local food bank. The New Braunfels Food Bank and Hays County Food Bank provide food assistance to individuals and families in need.
2. Help at an animal shelter. From walking dogs to playing with cats, there are many ways to make a difference in the lives of our furry friends.
3. Gather a group of volunteers for trash clean up. Did you know that if only 1% of the world’s population picked up a single piece of trash every day for a year, that would add up to over 27.7 billion pieces of trash?
