All of us at CMIT Solutions of Stamford and Hartford hope that each of you and your employees are well. We  realize that many of our clients have had to make great adjustments in the way they work and communicate, in a very short period of time.

As we all return to work, perhaps from home, or back to our offices, we want our clients to know that we take our health, and yours, seriously.  Below you will find our current “Coronavirus(Covid-19) Policy. We have also attained “Open Business” certification for Covid-19 policy from the city of Stamford.

In order to protect ourselves and all of our clients, we will schedule remote appointments as much as possible.

Should an onsite appointment be necessary, we require that all possible social distancing and protection measures be taken. Additionally, we require that any client advise us if they have an employee quarantined preventatively, or who has been diagnosed with Corona (Covid-19) for two weeks prior to the scheduled appointment, to two weeks after any onsite appointment.

This company policy includes measures we are actively taking to ensure the continuity of CMIT Solutions of Stamford and Hartford, and their Client business, while mitigating the spread of and/or exposure to Coronavirus for technicians.

This policy is susceptible to change with the introduction of guidelines from local, state and national governmental bodies.

Scope: This policy applies to all CMIT Solutions of Stamford and Hartford employees.

Policy Elements: Required actions for employees to take to reduce the spread of and/or exposure to Coronavirus.

Hygiene at a Client Location:
Employees will practice regular and frequent handwashing and use of hand sanitizer where available.

Increased ventilation of fresh air via opening windows will be employed as often as possible.

Employees will wear a mask and employ social distancing of 6 feet wherever possible.

Employees will be the only person in a work area, when possible (separate office, IT room, etc)

Employees will thoroughly wipe down and disinfect any device they touch: Screens, Workstations, Laptops, Keyboard, Mouse, Phone

Other Actions:
Whenever possible and until further notice, CMIT Solutions of Stamford and Hartford employees and technicians will work remotely.

Any employee who has been, or believes they have been, in contact with someone with Coronavirus will report that contact to Linda Kuppersmith and will be assigned remote work for a 14 day period.

Any employee who must care for a relative with Coronavirus will be assigned remote work until at least 14 calendar days after the family member has fully recovered, provided the employee is asymptomatic, and has a doctor’s note confirming they do not have the virus.

Any employee who feels ill and has any symptoms of Coronavirus, will notify Linda Kuppersmith, and will work remotely as is appropriate for their health condition.

Any employee who is diagnosed with Coronavirus may return to onsite appointments only with a doctor’s note confirming their complete recovery.
