With over 24 years of experience in business technology, David has been able to create substantial value for customers by building bridges between businesses and IT. He comes with an Engineering and Computing Science background and has spent a significant period in leadership roles across business and IT functions. He has successfully founded two companies, including an import-export business and a specialist analytics consultancy company.

His career has spanned various functions that include Manufacturing, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Retail, Logistics, Public / Private Services, and Finance. Consequently, he has developed a breadth of expertise that enhances his ability to contribute and act as a trusted advisor to Business Owners, Senior Business Leaders and Executives.

David’s enduring success and career progression have been achieved by his ability to learn and adapt quickly. A key strength of his is the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into action. The ability that David brings to the increasingly complex business challenges is a core strength and area of expertise for CMIT (Manhattan IT Support).

David graduated from Dundee Abertay University with a Diploma in Computer Studies and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Management Studies. He is ITIL Certified and Six/Lean Sigma trained. David is a Chartered IT Professional and a member of the British Computer Society.

A regular advisor to research organizations such as Gartner and Forrester, he has made presentations and participated in many panel discussions as a subject matter expert.

His key skills include content management, knowledge management and collaboration, strategy and architecture, roadmap planning, project management, business intelligence and analytics, data management and governance. David is driven by the values of transparency, integrity, personal growth, social responsibility, and a passionate commitment to client and partner success.

His career progression accelerated when he relocated to London from Scotland. That’s when he started to focus on enabling organizations to become more efficient and effective through process and technology.

On the personal front, David, his wife Karen, daughter Isobel and 2 dogs, live in the lower Manhattan area of NY. When he’s not at work, he enjoys quality time with the family, golf, sailing, and skiing.
