Briefing details:

AI in Action: How Businesses Are Actually Using AI Today

AI has quietly become part of daily operations at businesses everywhere, whether leadership planned for it or not. From drafting emails to summarizing meetings to speeding up IT troubleshooting, teams are already finding real value, often without a clear strategy behind it. The businesses getting the most out of AI aren’t necessarily using it more; they’re using it more intentionally.

Join us for a morning built around real conversation. We’ll open with a practical presentation on how businesses are using AI today, followed by a panel discussion featuring local business and IT leaders sharing what’s actually working (and what isn’t), and close with a roundtable discussion where you can dig into your own questions alongside other attendees.

You will gain insights into:

  • Where AI is already creating real productivity gains across your business
  • Why many businesses aren’t seeing consistent value from AI (and how to fix it)
  • Practical guardrails that let AI scale without adding risk
  • What mature AI adoption looks like in practice

Whether you’re a business owner, IT leader, or operations decision-maker, this event will help you separate real value from hidden risk, and leave with a clear picture of where your business stands.

Event Host

Guy Hopkins (Co-hosted with Scott Graflund)

CMIT Solutions

Guy Hopkins is the owner of CMIT Solutions of South Denver, with more than 30 years of experience in technology. He worked across industries from automotive to finance to healthcare, learning how technology can solve real business problems and drive growth. Over time, he recognized that small and medium-sized businesses face the same technology challenges as large enterprises, but without the same level of support.

That gap is what led him to CMIT Solutions as he brings in enterprise-grade IT expertise to South Denver’s business community, offering the same strategic guidance and reliable solutions that big companies depend on.

For over two decades, Guy has called Denver home, and he’s deeply invested in the success of local businesses. His focus is on building long-term partnerships based on trust, proactive support, and a shared goal of making technology a true competitive advantage.
