I’ve always liked technology. As a young man, I joined the US Navy and honed my craft as a technician working with electronics, cryptography, and supporting data centers and communication equipment. The Navy also taught me discipline, method-based troubleshooting, and allowed me to pursue my degree in Computer Science.

Later, I served as the lead IT staff member for a company (TASQ Technology) that grew from 9 employees to over 1000 and became the largest distributor and repair center for Point of Sale devices in the world.
