The leaders on this annual list are from all areas of the IT channel ecosystem; representing technology suppliers, distributors, solution providers, and other IT organizations. CRN editors choose the list from a multitude of channel leadership applicants and select the final honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise, and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.
Nelan earned the honor following a nomination from the editors of CRN Magazine, who chose candidates based on their achievements as executives and the amount of influence they wield over the technology channel. All of the recipients are women who represent a changing trend in a traditionally male dominated industry.

Nelan’s office is built on a foundation of teamwork, sacrifice, service, and success. Her causes range from the Sunshine Campus that serves special needs campers to school # 8, the Roberto Clemente Elementary School, where she spends time reading to young students as well as serving on the Board of the Susan B. Anthony House, which has an international impact in inspiring others to change the world for the better while having a local impact on the urban community in which it is located.
