Long overdue for an updated computer system, including new hardware and software, as well as a modernized phone system, Washington Heights CORNER Project met CMIT Solutions at a critical juncture for the organization. At that first meeting between the two, Paul Okura, president of CMIT Solutions of Southern Westchester, assessed the organization’s needs in a consultation that Joann Gomez, WHCP’s administrative assistant, coordinated. From there, Paul recommended and installed updated computer hardware, including initiating the organization’s migration to Office 365. Next, he brought in a team of electricians to modernize the electrical, data and voice lines, as well as install an updated phone system.
