ROCHESTER, New York – CMIT Solutions of Monroe has done it again. During the brand’s annual convention and awards ceremony, Steve Tylock, solutions architect for CMIT Solutions of Monroe, the area’s premier IT services provider that specializes in working with local SMBs, was presented with the Technician of the Year Award.

The CMIT Solutions home office completed comprehensive assessments prior to deciding which technician would win the award. Steve has led CMIT Solutions of Monroe to the top of the CMIT Solutions franchise system in nearly every category the company tracks to determine the award winner.
“I am out of words to describe how good this award feels,” said Tylock, who joined the CMIT Solutions of Monroe family in December of 2011. “It is a testament to hard work and represents a total group effort. Tylock celebrated his honor with other CMIT Solutions franchisees and the company’s corporate team during the annual awards ceremony at the convention. In addition to the festive dinner, Tylock and his CMIT Solutions colleagues attended three days of training seminars, breakout sessions,and business enhancement programs.
Prior to his current role with CMIT Solutions of Monroe, Tylock held a range of positions in large corporate settings, small business environments,and an educational institution. In addition to publishing a number of articles on systems administration, Tylock penned a book, “The LinkedIn Personal Trainer,” a comprehensive guide for new users. Outside
of work, he enjoys racing through the area’s woodlands with the Rochester Orienteering Club.
