Named “CMIT Connect Live!,” the convention focused on the current state of cyberthreats facing small and medium-sized organizations and the ways in which CMIT Solutions franchisees are able to help the businesses in their communities strengthen their defenses and, at the same time, improve productivity. The company also announced several key initiatives centered on further reducing the complexity of technology provisioning, management, support, and security for businesses in this size bracket that often struggle to source and maintain IT solutions that fit their specific requirements and budgets. By the end of 2023, the brand aims to become a $100 million MSP through its commitment to delivering technology innovation, managed IT services, and cybersecurity.

Throughout the three-day event, franchisees were able to attend extensive sales and marketing trainings, educational seminars, and had opportunities to share best practices with one another. The accomplishments of franchisees and supplier partners were celebrated as well.

This year, Lewis launched a new lifetime achievement award by establishing the CMIT Solutions Hall of Fame. Georgia Jones, the company’s founder, was inducted as the first member of the newly minted honor. A true visionary, Jones transformed her small neighborhood computer repair business into a nationwide franchise and a significant presence in the MSP space. Lewis also inducted Jason Arabian, owner of the CMIT Solutions franchise in Central Rhode Island, in recognition of his ongoing contributions to the franchising system, his embodiment of CMIT Solutions’ values, and the stellar growth and success of his business.

Additionally, Lewis presented the highest annual honor, “Franchise of the Year,” to CMIT Solutions in South Nassau owner Armando D’Accordo. This recognition was earned for achieving a series of high marks in all criteria judged, including total revenue, operations, number of managed seats, and participation within the franchise system.
